Reflection

Simply, meditation is a practice that connects the body and mind. The aim is to enjoy the process. That’s why there is no one universal rule about how long a meditation should take.

Some benefits of meditation practice is it can help improve focus, lower stress levels, and quiet your mind.  With time and consistent practice, eventually a deeper level of mindfulness will start taking shape. This helps to increase both calmness and awareness on a physical, mindful and emotional level, for yourself and those around you.

A time to reflect and reconnect for yourself. A way to find a calm and grounded center, to set your morning intention or to wind down from a packed day or to peacefully ease into sleep. Sounds blissful!

The Art of Meditation

Find a comfortable quiet spot to enjoy a simple meditation practice. Be open toward the process and if the mind drifts, just simply bring it back to the breath. You can choose to acknowledge any sensations that pop up during the practice. No need to label them or become upset by any distraction from your practice. It’s part of the experience. Invite yourself to return to your breathing until you are ready to open your eyes.
