Intro to Mindful Movement

Free your inner wellness with the connection and energy of LIVE private virtual workout sessions directed by a dedicated Mindful Movement wellness instructor, cheerleader, and coach, from the comfort of your own space. With your interests in mind, personal instructions, and cues are given to make your workouts effective and transformational.

Sessions are intimately set to provide a level of service and care, accessible, and aspirational.  Small equipment is optional but using them may add that extra oomph that your body may be ready and even craving.

With all fitness levels, attention to breathing, and mindful movement is certainly practiced while fun and positive energy is also encouraged!

Before Your First Session

When you join our hive and sign up for your first initial movement session, please take a moment to complete the Waiver Form and PAR-Q Form. You are then invited to take a 15 minute complimentary consultation with a certified instructor before you begin your first session.

What’s Your Skill Level?

Baby Bumblebee (Novice level)  Are you starting a new fitness activity, or returning from a long fitness break or even just going back to the basics? This level may then be appropriate for you. Pilates and fitness principles are emphasized to move safely and progressively. Slower paced movements with detailed instructions and modifications are given to feel the support so that functional moves (sitting, bending, reaching, lifting, walking) are maintained easily and painlessly. Small equipment: 1lb weight, small head cushion or pillow, yoga mat

Bumblebee  (Beginner level)  For the occasional fitness enthusiast keen to try Pilates which is a low impact exercise and complements any lifestyle. Whole body movement exercises to tone muscles, build core strength, improve posture, move confidently and easily. Small equipment: 1lb-2lb hand weight, 5ft-6ft length medium resistance band, small head cushion or pillow, yoga mat

Honey Bee (Strong Beginner level)  For the active fitness lover who desires that extra “push” or support to achieve a personal goal like a 10km run, or simply releasing some pent up stress. This moderate paced class will have you feeling your muscles, moving your spine in all planes, challenging your coordination and balance. Small equipment: 1lb-2lb hand weight, 5ft-6ft length medium to light resistance band, small head cushion or pillow, yoga mat

Queen Bee (Intermediate level)  Flowing movements that progressively challenge and move your body from one exercise to the next. This is a full body workout that targets your entire core strength and stability as you access your limbs to build power, flexibility, endurance, balance, coordination, control. Using your own body weight is applied in some exercises. Small equipment: 1lb-3lb hand weight, 1x tennis ball, 1x hand towel, 1 yoga block, 5ft- 6ft medium resistance band, small head cushion or pillow, yoga mat

Golden Queen (Active Aging level)  For the seasoned life enthusiast who appreciates the importance of movement and mental focus. This session is designed to help with balance, range of movement and functional positions like sit to stand, bending, lifting, reaching, pulling and pushing.  Posture, balance, coordination and fun mental exercises are included in this workout. Equipment: small cushion pillow, hand towel, small chair with firm back ( without armrests and without wheels)


All Private package and individual sessions have a 6 month expiry. All sessions are non-transferable and non-refundable. Any cancellations or changes to scheduled sessions are made at least 24hrs in advance to avoid full charge.
