Wellness Movement Sessions

Monday and Tuesday day and evening sessions

With a blend of meditation, calm heart-coherence breathing, body techniques to reduce ‘stuck stress’ and light pilates and yoga inspired movements the elixir is guaranteed to nurture your whole self.  This signature program harmonizes the mind and body and spirit, leaving a sense of peaceful connection and integrated alignment. It’s intentional mindfulness with body movements resulting in whole-ness wellbeing. No other equipment required, just a mat or space on the floor and a head pillow.

Monday and Tuesday day and evening sessions

Bumblebee

For the beginner level, occasional fitness enthusiast or new to pilates who wants to build core strength to improve posture, muscle tone and strength, optimal hip, knee and arm movements. Also ideal to complement any activity you love to do daily. Most exercises use your own body weight to maintain daily functional movements ie. sitting, bending, lifting and walking. Hand weights (1lb-2lbs)and 1 light to medium resistance bands are optional.

Required: 1 yoga mat or carpeted area, 1 pillow to support head and neck.

Honey Bee

For the strong beginner, currently active at least 2x a week, who loves a moderate paced class and a full body workout. This class moves your spine and builds muscle strength and improves balance and coordination. Hand weights (1lb-2lbs) and 1 light to medium resistance band are optional.

Required: 1 yoga mat or carpeted area, 1 pillow to support head and neck.

Queen Bee

For the intermediate exerciser, the flowing movements challenge the whole body’s power, endurance, balance, coordination and stability. Using your own body weight is applied in some exercises. Optional small equipment like hand weights 1lb-3lb, 1x tennis ball, 1x hand towel, 1 yoga block, 1 light to medium resistance band.

Required: 1 yoga mat or carpeted area, 1 pillow to support head and neck.

Golden Queen

For the seasoned life enthusiast who believes in the value of movement and mental focus. This active aging class helps with balance, posture and fun coordination to also challenge our brain power!

Required: small chair with firm back (without arm rests if possible), 1 hand towel, 1 small pillow.
