Kind Mind

Sometimes we experience those moments when we’re driving to a destination and don’t remember how we got there. We chalk it up likely to driving on ‘auto-pilot’. There are at least 40,000 thoughts that enter our minds daily and yet, what thought(s) we intentionally choose and accept at every moment can make the difference between a successful or unfavorable outcome.  The power is first in the conscious intended thought, what is important to you. It’s the conscious awareness that aligns with your feelings or your subconscious, which creates desired results in that moment, in your life.  As your life is made up of small moments! This is healthy vitality! to live, to grow, to experience, to be in the moment.

Mindfulness is a self-care practice. It’s a loving commitment to yourself first, where you direct your attention to observe your thoughts, feelings, emotions and sensations. Mindfulness is empowerment as you choose where to focus your attention. For instance, ‘Are my thoughts supporting or hindering me? ‘Am I being thoughtful in the present moment, or am I thinking about the past or even distracted about the future?’ ‘Are these thoughts even true or are they just an opinion?’

Take a moment to be still, listen to your inner voice, your spirit and intuition. Following who you truly are is developing your self-care practice and in tandem your self-trust. Where your thoughts and emotions align lies a sense of calm and a peace to do things with ease.  How to increase mindfulness is through simple meditation.

Be Kind to Mind

Meditation is like a discovery process about yourself.  Inner discovery which brings kindness back to yourself, a relaxation, peace and sense of freedom. A kind mind is better than an agitated mind. How you approach new practices and new mindset is with the same attitude you practice to connect with your intention and attention. The attitude of kindness, curiosity, gratitude, self-love, honesty, patience, as you form new habits that support your wellbeing.

How will you bring kindness to your mind today?
